Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 3, 2026
Thank you for playing GridBlock. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. Because GridBlock does not use user accounts, we do not collect personal identifiers like your name, email address, or phone number.
1. Information Collected Automatically
To keep the game free and understand how players interact with it, we use third-party services (Google AdMob and Firebase). These services automatically collect anonymous data, including:
- Coarse Location: An approximate location (like your city or country) derived from your IP address, used to serve relevant advertisements and for anonymous analytics.
- Device Identifiers (Device ID): An anonymous Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and installation IDs are used to track ad performance and game installations.
- Usage Data: Information about your interaction with the game, such as session lengths, screen views, and interactions with advertisements.
- Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data to help us fix bugs and improve the game.
2. Third-Party Services
We share the aforementioned anonymous data with the following partners:
- Google AdMob: For serving advertisements.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: For monitoring game performance and crashes.
- Facebook (Meta) SDK: For measuring the performance of our own marketing campaigns.
3. Tracking and Opt-Out
You have control over how your data is used for advertising. On iOS, you can manage your advertising preferences by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and toggling "Allow Apps to Request to Track" off, or by revoking tracking permissions specifically for GridBlock.
